The weekend saw Tendring Men’s team travel to Kettering for the National Play-Off’s, where they would face the winners for the other two Division 3 Conferences, University of Birmingham(UoB) and New Forest.

Last weekend saw Tendring completed their domination of National League Division 3 with a win against Milton Keynes.

This weekend saw Tendring men out do their womens team by gaining promotion and winning the league title.

With 2 games still to play Tendring have played 18 games and won 18 games, leading the table since the first day of the season.  Their game statisitics are the second best in the entire NVL, only dropping 10 sets in the entire campaign, only Leeds Carnegie Women hold a better record.

The men still have one home fixture to go on the 11th April where they will be hoping to complete the season without losing a game.

Once the regular season is over Tendring Men will travel to Kettering on 18th April to play in the National Play-Off's against the other 2 Division 3 winners with the winner jumping another tier to NVL Div 1.

Tendring Clinch Title from Rivals

Tendring 3 -2 Danes Watford
16-25, 25-23, 25-22, 14-25, 15-13

So it came down to the biggest match of the season. Danes needed to
win this match and hope that Tendring would lose their other 2
remaining matches. Tendring wanted to win this match and celebrate
winning their first senior title if front of their rivals. This was
going to be an intense fixture.

Tendring Inch Closer To Championship

Tendring 3 – 0 Sussex Dolphins
25-22, 25-22, 25-23

Report by Neil Masters

The fixture secretary could not have organized a more compelling line
up for this weekends matches. Tendring who were currently top of the
league with a perfect 16 wins out of 16 matches faced first the 3rd
placed team, Sussex Dolphins and then 2nd placed team Danes.
