Volleyball can be one of the simplest sports to teach with the most basic of equipment.

This has been designed for teachers that have never taught volleyball before and have no qualifications in delivering volleyball. If you have a basic volleyball coaching award then this will give you that helping hand to go out and use what you learnt on your course.

In an ideal world every school would have a big sports hall with line markings for the appropriate court sizes, a net system that can be adjusted to the correct height and enough balls for 1 between 2 children.

This is not an ideal world so with our help we will show you how to easily deliver volleyball to KS2 students for a one off equipment fee of just over £200#.

Using the 6 lessons plans below you will be able to deliver volleyball lessons with very little previous knowledge of the game. Each lesson plan has an accompanying video which will show you how our local expert delivers the lesson*.

Each lesson plan is for an hour but can be adjusted to fit your needs. You can also use them over an 8 lesson period by have a mini tournament in lesson 4 and using the extra material for the additional lessons.

If you have any questions please check out the Teacher Resources FAQ page, if your answer is not there, email us and we will try and help.
