U14 Girls Eastern Region Champions

On Tuesday 11th May the Under 14 regional girls Volleyball tournament was held at Frinton Campus, Tendring Technology College.  The girls were up against some stiff competition from an extremely talented Boswell School, bringing girls who play in the Eastern region team.  The pool rounds were close and both TTC A and TTC B were up against the Boswell sides in the semi finals.  TTC B fought hard but lost by one set in their final game, they were crowned as 4th best team in the area.  TTC A had to replay Boswell B team in the final, a team they had lost to in the pool rounds, but they worked hard and pulled together as a team winning by a two clear sets.  TTC A also have members of their team who represent the East for Volleyball and we all wish them well when competing in national events.  The winners were, Georgia Ibbotson, Bethany Ibbotson, Remy McDermott and Jessica Lane.

Alongside the under 14 competition there was also a year 7 2 a-side tournament for competitors within TTC.  This tournament was highly competitive and saw some excellent three touch volleyball being played.  The winners of the year 7 competition were Ellie Spencer, Rhia Spencer and Yasmin Carter.
