Easy Win For Tendring
Tendring’s old friends in Stowmarket are a tricky team, they were the first team to take a set from Tendring this season. They aren’t the tallest, fastest or skilled of teams but they work their socks off. No other team show’s so much determination in defence.

Our U14s Girls view of Volleyball
Last Updated on Monday, 08 February 2010 16:11 Written by Mark Harris Friday, 05 February 2010 16:15
Volleyball is a great way to keep fit and healthy. You get to meet new people, so it is a great way to socialise. You develop more skills and team work. You also develop more control with other sports. You could go all over the world if you are committed enough. The coaching is brilliant as it is by professionals that have played against other great players, and in international leagues. Some of the things you learn are: digging, volleying, spiking, different positions, 3-touch rule and blocking. You get to play in different sizes of groups, either 1 against 1 or up to 6 versus 6. This means you can get more touches, helping with you volleying, and learn the different styles of playing. TVC have a range of equipment to help with volleyball. This is a great way to get involved in a new sport. We also do some physical tests including jumping; our highest jump was 52, jumped by Emily Appleby.
