The Tendring Beach Classic is being held at Martello Beach, Clacton-on-sea, North East Essex

From London
Follow the A12 eastbound to Colchester, at junction 29 take the A120 towards Harwich/Clacton. Take the first slip road (A133) to Clacton and follow this road all the way to Clacton. After approx 8 miles you will arrive at a big roundabout with a "Welcome to Clacton on Sea" sign in front of you and the Fire Station over to the right. Now ignore your Sat Nav, turn right on to St. Johns Road (B1027) and continue straight on until you see Clacton Garden Centre on your left where you will turn left at the mini roundabout into Jaywick Lane. Follow the road until you reach a double mini roundabout where you will turn left into West Road. After 1 mile you will see the Martello Inn Pub in front you (and the sea), the beach courts are located just to the right of here.
From the North of East Anglia (Suffolk, Norfolk etc)
Follow the A14 to Ipswich, at Pinebrook Services (Tesco, Toys R us etc) take the A12 south to Colchester, at junction 29 take the A120 towards Harwich/Clacton. Take the first slip road (A133) to Clacton and follow this road all the way to Clacton. After approx 8 miles you will arrive at a big roundabout with a "Welcome to Clacton on Sea" sign in front of you and the Fire Station over to the right. Now ignore your Sat Nav, turn right on to St. Johns Road (B1027) and continue straight on until you see Clacton Garden Centre on your left where you will turn left at the mini roundabout into Jaywick Lane. Parking
There are 3 small car parks (shown on map) located within a few hundred metres of the beach courts, all 3 fill up quickly in the morning. Alternatively there is plenty of on street parking available along West Road (Sea Front) and other roads off of West Road.
Train
Clacton-on-sea train services are run by National Express East Anglia. Trains run regularly from London Liverpool Street, for those of you coming from north of the county you will need to change at Colchester. There is a taxi rank outside the station
